FAQ
Common Questions
Short answers about copying, compatibility, Unicode limits, and how the tool behaves across apps.
Can I copy and paste the subscript text?+
Yes. The result uses Unicode characters, so it can be copied into many apps and text fields that support those characters.
Why do some letters stay normal size?+
Unicode has no standard subscript equivalent for every letter or symbol. The tool keeps unsupported characters unchanged rather than deleting them.
Is this the same as HTML subscript?+
No. HTML uses the semantic sub element to display normal characters as subscript. This tool creates copyable Unicode characters for plain-text fields.
Can I use subscript text in a username or bio?+
Often yes, but each platform has its own character rules. Test the result before saving the profile or username.
Does the generator upload my text?+
No. The conversion happens locally in your browser without an account or external text API.
